Ruamata marae is located at Tikitere, and sits on the urban fringes of Rotorua city. The primary hapū of Ruamata is Ngāti Te Kanawa of Ngāti Uenukukōpako. Whare tipuna, Uenukukōpako, serves as a vital link to Te Arawa waka and Te Rotorua-nui-a-Kahumatamomoe. With close proximity to the Rotorua airport, township, amenities, and cultural sites, the marae is a preferred choice for many. While it is a privilege to utilize Ruamata facilities, your booking helps contribute to the preservation of the marae and is appreciated.
Ngā mihi.
