Te Koutu te marae

Koutu (Kārenga) marae can be found in the Koutu area of Rotorua Lakes and is affiliated with Ngāti Karenga of Te Ure o Uenukukōpako. The ancestral house known as Tūmahaurangi, is the sibling of Whakaue-Kaipapa, the renowned ancestor of Ngāti Whakaue. The marae has ancestral ties to the Te Arawa waka and the Utuhina river.

• Once your booking dates are endorsed, you will be emailed the Hire Form for completion and prompt submission..

Utu

• To secure your booking, a $200 refundable bond and a $100 Reservation fee is required upfront. Bank details can be found on the Hire Form.

• A final settlement invoice will be sent to you via email at least 3 weeks before your arrival date.
